We are seeking a skilled HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to become a vital member of our dedicated team at Interior Health Authority.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will execute advanced HVAC and refrigeration mechanic tasks at the journeyman level, ensuring the effective fabrication, installation, modification, repair, and maintenance of refrigeration and air handling systems, including automated control systems.

You will assess work requests, collaborate with various departments on specifications, and interpret technical drawings to identify required materials and equipment. Your duties will also encompass estimating project costs, performing operational and safety risk evaluations, and managing work schedules.

Furthermore, you will install, maintain, diagnose, and repair an array of components such as compressors, valves, pumps, fans, chillers, heat pumps, switches, and cooling towers, ensuring all tasks adhere to relevant codes and regulations.

Position Details:

This is a permanent full-time role with a Monday to Friday schedule, featuring day shifts and every second Friday off. This position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

This role will involve servicing various regions and communities, necessitating some travel and occasional overnight stays.
