Position Overview: Construction Helper

Join our team at SHG Home Renovations & Technical Solutions as a Construction Helper. This role is essential for supporting various construction activities and ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a related field
Work Environment
  • Outdoor settings
  • Underground tasks
  • Exposure to noisy conditions
  • Dusty environments
  • Working in hot conditions
Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport materials for construction
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in the framing of structures, erecting walls, and constructing roofs
  • Pave and rake asphalt surfaces
  • Organize and clean salvaged materials
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks
  • Clear rubble and debris from construction sites
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Fast-paced work environment
  • Physically demanding tasks
  • Strong attention to detail required
Weight Handling
  • Ability to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Ability to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
