We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Showroom Consultant to join our team at Universal Supply Co. As a Showroom Consultant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide expert product selection assistance and design advice to customers, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed monthly product-specific sales and gross profit targets, while increasing profit-sharing.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with designers, home builders, and architects to grow profitable sales.
- Order Management: Enter orders and quotes in the system, expedite purchases, and maintain proactive communication with customers.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products on display at the showroom, able to suggest appropriate products to suit customers' needs and promote value-added services.
- Communication: Provide customers with quick, reliable quotes and accurate delivery dates, while addressing customer issues and resolving short payments and returns in a timely fashion.
- Education: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales, with a preference for plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showroom sales experience.
- Skills: Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills, ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Product Knowledge: Previous experience with or knowledge of products sold in the plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showrooms.
- Software Proficiency: Experience using M3 software.
