Distribution Technician

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our rail logistics services. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Distribution Technician.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing field and functional support activities necessary to successfully load/unload produced product and/or raw materials to fulfill customer's production and shipping needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload propylene, butadiene, and pyrolis on a scale.
- Operate forklift and bagging line.
- Control valves and diverters by understanding how actuators and digital input systems function.
- Load glycol into trucks and railcars.
- Run panels to support loading operations.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve daily shipping and receiving goals.
- Participate in the Site Logistics EH&S programs.
- Utilize established tools, processes, and procedures.
- Comply with the department's Operating Discipline Management System (ODMS).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6+ months of experience required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Superior communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and speak effectively.
Work Environment
This position requires regular work in an outdoor environment, with exposure to various weather conditions. The employee must be able to wear a respirator and/or other PPE that covers the face.
Language
This job requires fluency in English.
