Oxford Learning Richmond Seeks Dedicated Math Educator

Are you passionate about mathematics and eager to empower students to succeed? Oxford Learning Richmond is searching for a part-time High School Math Teacher/Tutor to join our dynamic team.

As an Interactive Coach, you'll play a vital role in guiding students through their math journey, fostering their confidence and helping them achieve their academic goals. We offer a supportive environment where your expertise will be valued and your contributions will make a real difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction to small groups of students (up to 3) in various math subjects, including advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and vectors.
  • Implement Oxford Learning's proven methodologies and philosophies to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Maintain accurate student records and provide regular updates on their progress.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in mathematics education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching or tutoring high school math is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the current Grades 9-12 math curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for helping students succeed.
