First Transit Canada, a leader in the transportation sector, is seeking dedicated drivers for long-term roles

We are looking for school bus operators in Montreal, Canada, to ensure the safe transit of students between home and school. This role demands individuals who prioritize safety and possess exceptional customer service skills, as the relationships formed with students and parents are what make this profession truly fulfilling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Safely transport students to and from educational institutions following a set route throughout the academic year
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections
  • Engage professionally with parents, school staff, passengers, and the community
  • Provide transportation for charter passengers when necessary
  • Facilitate training sessions
  • Perform other related duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proficient communication skills in French
  • High school diploma (mandatory)
  • Successful completion of a medical evaluation, criminal background check, and reference verifications
  • 6 to 24 months of experience operating heavy vehicles is essential
  • Willingness to study and pass exams in Quebec to secure a Class 2 driving license
  • Minimum age of 21 years
