Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist

Central Avenue Health Centre is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to our clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for clients
  • Apply pressure to specific points on the body to alleviate pain and tension
  • Assess clients through range of motion and muscle tests, and propose treatment plans
  • Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments given
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues to promote relaxation and relief
  • Suggest home care instructions and provide information on techniques
Requirements:
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform massage therapy
  • Client focus and strong communication skills
