Senior Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Inspector to join our Transportation department in various locations across the GTA. As a Senior Inspector, you will play a key role in supporting the oversight of construction contracts, working closely with project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting progress, deficient workmanship, resources, and milestones achieved.
- Monitor, measure, and calculate the quantity of work performed to support contractor payment.
- Support quality assurance monitoring and material sampling.
- Lead, assist, and mentor junior-level staff, including Junior Inspectors and Students.
- Liaise between contractors, client representatives, utility companies, and other stakeholders.
- Minimum of three (3) years of Municipal inspection experience.
- Graduated from a Civil Engineering Technology/Technologist College Program or a Civil Engineering University Program.
- Certified by OACETT and possessing the Road Construction Senior Inspector (rcsi) designation, or registered with PEO as an Engineer-in-Training or a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficient at interpreting Contract Documents, specifications, standards, and technical drawings.
- A valid Ontario driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
