Job Title: Maintenance Shop Manager

Control Tech Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our maintenance shop in Grande Prairie. As a key member of our E&I Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and address gaps in processing and handling of repairs to support field technicians in completing jobs efficiently.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to direct reports, including apprentices, to ensure their growth and development.
  • Ensure performance management, including discipline when necessary, is maintained on a regular basis.
  • Oversee the maintenance of required materials for current and future projects, ensuring timely ordering and delivery.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage work orders and inventory to optimize shop operations.
Requirements:
  • Journeyman Electrician or Instrumentation certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with meter runs, chemical pumps, turbines, bench proving, valves, actuators, and other related equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IFS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, MWO).
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
