Job Title: Maintenance Shop Manager

Control Tech Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our maintenance shop in Grande Prairie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of maintenance tasks, while also providing guidance and mentorship to our direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance shop operations, including the management of inventory, materials, and equipment.
  • Identify and address gaps in processing and handling of repairs to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Provide coaching, direction, and supervision to direct reports, including apprentices.
  • Ensure performance management, including discipline, is maintained on a regular basis.
  • Manage the training and development of employees.
  • Workorder and inventory management.
Requirements:
  • Journeyman Electrician or Instrumentation preferred.
  • Familiarity with meter runs, chemical pumps, turbines, bench proving, valves, actuators, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with all levels of employees and management.
  • Capable of working alone and in isolation or in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IFS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, MWO).
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
