About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Excellent Patient Care: Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of exceptional nursing and personal care to our residents.
  • Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of our residents and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
  • Implement and Evaluate Care: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal resident outcomes.
  • Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safe and efficient management of medications and supplies, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Document Resident Information: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Registration and Certification: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses and current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare colleagues.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency, with experience using electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
  • Clearance and Certifications: Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate, Medical Clearance (including TB tests), Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
