About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Excellent Patient Care: Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of exceptional nursing and personal care to our residents.
  • Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of our residents and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
  • Implement and Evaluate Care: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being: Take proactive steps to prevent accidents and ensure the safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
  • Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safe and effective management of medications and supplies, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Document Resident Information: Accurately and thoroughly document resident information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Certifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency.
  • Clearance: Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.
