Work Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Responsibilities

  • Front-End Planning: Collaborate as a key member of the Front-End Planning project team, responsible for coordinating and driving the planning processes. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Value Engineering and Project Definition Rating Index (PDRI) workshops, facilitating risk profiling and project breakdown structure development.
  • Project Monitoring & Control: Develop and maintain an accurate conceptual phase schedule. Load the approved project plan into relevant project control systems and perform regular updates and analyses of cost and schedule.
  • Change Management: Ensure adherence to approved change control processes and prepare necessary documentation for change approvals.
  • Cost & Schedule Quality: Maintain an accurate project schedule that reflects the current plan, ensuring precise cost forecasting and schedule updates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with stakeholders to ensure project plans are accurately maintained and aligned with financial systems.
  • Business Planning: Establish and manage project control budgets, contributing to annual business plan development and analysis.
  • Purchase Order Analysis: Ensure proper alignment between costs and budgets in the project plan, monitoring contractor performance.
  • Project Closeout: Facilitate the financial closeout process, ensuring final reconciliation and closure of project controls.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist in enhancing PMO processes and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess knowledge in engineering or science related to project planning, scheduling, and risk management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in relevant business and computer applications. A four-year degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience is acceptable. Junior candidates are welcome to apply.
