About the Role
The Capital Accounting and Reporting Director will be responsible for leading the Capital Accounting, Reporting & Control team in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial reporting and controls. This includes accounting for capital transactions and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation or review of quarterly adjustments for the consolidated Balance Sheet.
- Oversee the preparation or review of entries and schedules related to ESOP, share buybacks, and external debt.
- Develop and implement accounting models and entries for shareholder dividends and capital transactions.
- Participate in working groups representing finance for capital transactions.
- Oversight of SOX control processes.
- Prepare pro forma balance sheets for regulatory applications.
- Review selected schedules and financial statement notes for external reporting.
- Assist in establishing and streamlining standard processes.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support to segment and functional teams.
Requirements
- Strong financial background with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Competency in project management, preferably in financial processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Accounting designation (CPA) and relevant degree.
- Experience in consolidation and FX accounting.
