Job Summary

FIVE RIVER EXPRESS LTD. is seeking a skilled Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our transportation department. This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Coordinate and assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to meet productivity and quality standards
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to team members
Work Environment

The Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
