Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the financial operations of Joseph Brant Hospital, ensuring the delivery of exceptional healthcare services through effective financial management and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making across the organization.
- Manage diverse financial functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Budgeting.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic financial plans that align with the hospital's goals.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain the integrity of financial reporting.
- Oversee the preparation of the annual operating budget and manage capital expenditures.
- Provide insights on healthcare funding reform and resource allocation strategies.
- Facilitate communication with government agencies regarding funding and financial policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a formal accounting designation; CPA preferred.
- 7-10 years of progressive financial management experience in a healthcare setting.
