We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 2482883 Ontario Inc. as a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and post journal entries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, including trial balance of books and reconciliations.
- Computer and Technology: Proficient in MS Excel and MS Windows.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work accurately with attention to detail, and work overtime as required.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, reliable, and able to work in a team environment.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
This is a permanent full-time position with 30 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
