Job Title: Senior Director, Network Operations

Telesat is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Network Operations to lead our Network Operations team in Gatineau, Quebec. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall strategy and direction of our network operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement network operations strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.
  • Lead a team of network operations professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of new services and technologies.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in network operations, with a strong background in satellite communications.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
