About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at HMS Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Utilize your technical expertise to detect faults and malfunctions in our heavy-duty equipment, identifying areas for repair or maintenance.
  • Diagnose and Repair Faults: Employ computerized and other testing equipment to diagnose faults or malfunctions, determining the extent of repair required to ensure our equipment meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Adjust equipment, repair or replace defective parts, and test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance.
  • Clean and Lubricate Equipment: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment to prevent wear and tear.
  • Specialize in Mechanical Maintenance: Develop expertise in mechanical transmissions, tracked vehicle suspensions and steering, wheel-mounted vehicle suspension and steering, highway vehicle tires and wheels, and brake systems.
