Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

New-Way Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-truck to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain the Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Safely transport goods and materials from one location to another, following established routes and schedules.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of cargo.
  • Communicate with Dispatch and Other Drivers: Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (Semi Trailer Trucks)
  • Ability to Work Independently: Work independently with minimal supervision, making decisions and taking actions as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the job, including long hours of driving and lifting/carrying heavy objects.
