About the Role:

The Product Specialist is a key member of the market sales team, responsible for supporting all Axalta products in various segments. This role requires a strong technical understanding of Axalta brands and technologies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for distributor personnel to enhance their knowledge of new products, technical support, and value-added programs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Axalta products.
  • Conduct education events, such as refinisher meetings, lunch and learns, and counter clinics, to promote best practices and optimize paint and material system performance.
  • Collaborate with the market sales team to identify opportunities and develop strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and association activities, and maintain a strong network of contacts within the industry.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; industry experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  • Aptitude to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
