Position Overview: Youth and Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a committed and compassionate individual to join our team as a Youth and Family Support Specialist. This role is essential in fostering positive outcomes for children, youth, and their families within a structured environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold a structured environment that promotes personal and social development for each client.
  • Engage actively in team meetings, training sessions, and planning discussions to ensure collaborative service delivery.
  • Manage therapeutic responsibilities for assigned children and youth, including participation in case conferences and intervention strategies.
  • Ensure the living space is well-maintained and meets the standards set by the Licensing Department.
  • Perform various tasks related to program operations, including meal preparation and transportation for clients.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field, with a minimum of two to four years of relevant experience.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Experience working with youth is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license and access to personal transportation.
