Sturgeon Public School Division is currently recruiting for a **Full-Time Temporary Counsellor** to join the team at Redwater School.
Located in the Town of Redwater, the school offers a unique small-town environment and serves approximately 300 students from grades 5-12. Approximately 30 staff work together as a team to provide exemplary education for all students. Redwater School embodies a well-rounded philosophy in education through arts, academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, and citizenship. Community spirit energizes the hallways encouraging students to “Make a Difference” while pursuing their unique paths to success.
**Assignment**:1.0 FTE; Full-Time Temporary Counsellor
**Qualifications**:
- A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Masters in Counselling or related experience
- Experience with school counselling, student learning and support plans
- Assist Training, VTRA Level 1 minimum and Mental Health First Aid an asset
- First Aid and TCIS training (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools) would be an asset

**Salary**: $61,686.00-$105,979.00 per year
