AWS Application Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced security leader to join our AWS AppSec team as a Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of security engineers and leaders, fostering a strong team culture, and driving innovation in cloud security.
Key Responsibilities- Security Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the AppSec team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality security products and services.
- Team Management: Manage a team of security engineers and leaders, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure their growth and development.
- Cloud Security Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our security products and services.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and engineering, to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
The AWS AppSec team is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills. As a Manager, you will be part of a team that is passionate about cloud security and committed to delivering exceptional results.
Requirements- Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience leading, managing, and developing high-performing teams.
- Security Expertise: 5+ years of progressive experience within a software security team or similar operating environment.
- Education: BA/BS in computer science, information security, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong information security risk-based prioritization abilities, hand-on knowledge of information security technologies, and experience with security design review, threat modeling, risk analysis, and software testing techniques.
