Job Title: Senior Cloud Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to join our team at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with experience in architecting and developing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our organization
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation and standards
  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in computer science, data science, information science, business, or a related field
  • Proficiency in French and English, reading, writing, and speaking
  • Substantive experience in architecting and developing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
  • Enhanced skillset with data warehousing, database development, data modeling, and their related best practices
  • Experience with transforming and transferring data between information systems
  • Experience in data reporting and/or business intelligence tools and machine learning concepts
