The Opportunity
We're looking for a bright, outgoing, and people-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As an Auto Insurance Representative, you'll work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized insurance solutions. You'll also have the opportunity to build relationships with colleagues and automobile dealership representatives, and work towards achieving performance targets.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of insurance products and services
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Detail-oriented and organized with a strong work ethic
- High school education or equivalent
- Level 1 Insurance License is an asset, but not required
A Day in the Life
- Build relationships with clients, colleagues, and automobile dealership representatives
- Offer a diverse selection of ICBC and private insurance products
- Process a wide variety of auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments, and more
- Upsell and cross-sell other insurance products from our other departments
- Administrative duties, such as answering the phone and inventory restock
Salary Expectations
The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure, consisting of a base salary plus commission. The expected base salary for this position is $40,000.00 to $45,000.00, plus commissions will be paid based on successful sales performance. The total compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience, and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level.
