Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Go Canada Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid AZ class license, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), and Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • Communication: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: The job requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment: The job involves working in a warehouse or terminal setting, with occasional travel required.
