About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Advisor to join our Personal Lines Sales team at HUB International Ontario Limited. As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert insurance solutions to our clients, utilizing your industry knowledge and sales expertise to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized insurance advice and guidance to clients, identifying their unique needs and risks.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, working closely with our underwriting team to deliver quotes and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key underwriters, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Resolve client concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Utilize industry-leading software and systems to provide quotes and manage client relationships.
  • Represent HUB at industry events and functions, promoting our brand and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry changes, underwriting rules, and workflow processes, applying this knowledge to improve client outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs, enhancing your skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) license in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of industry or personal lines experience, preferably in group sales or affinity sales.
  • Extensive experience with major domestic personal lines markets, including Aviva, Intact, and Economical.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Proficient in broker management systems, including EPIC and ARS.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple clients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships.
  • Professional insurance designations, such as CAIB or CIP, are an asset.
