About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Melo Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless execution of food preparation and service.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Lead and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and quality food preparation.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional results.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and minimizing waste.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure that food and service meet the highest quality standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.

Reporting and Record-Keeping

Prepare and submit accurate reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, maintaining detailed records for future reference.

Work Scheduling

Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent leadership and communication skills. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The work language is English, and you will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
