We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at RLC INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to support our construction and excavation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, including backhoes, loaders, and bulldozers, to perform tasks such as excavation, grading, and material handling.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment life.
- Pre-Operational Checks: Conduct thorough pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Log Keeping: Accurately complete onboard and other logs to track equipment usage and maintenance.
- Special Attachments: Secure special attachments to equipment as required for specific tasks.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
As a Heavy Equipment Operator at RLC INC, you will work in a fast-paced construction and excavation environment. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and may be exposed to noise, dust, and other hazards associated with heavy equipment operation.
