About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team at David & Iris Crouch as a Ranch Hand. This is a seasonal position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care: Assist with the daily care and handling of animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring their health.
  • Facility Maintenance: Clean and maintain stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the animals.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including tractors and haying equipment, to support farm operations.
  • Equipment Repair: Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle safely.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week, with a seasonal work term.
