About the Role:
GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment by enforcing property regulations and city by-laws.
- Access control of entryways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
- Protect clients' assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
- Complete daily reports and incident reports.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Valid Manitoba security guard license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year or more security-related experience is an asset.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Good communication skills (written/oral).
- Driver's license and car (asset).
- Excellent customer service and resourcefulness.
- Good adaptability.
