We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff within our hospital and medical facilities. This includes patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergencies, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Produce reports as required
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Provincial/Territorial Security Officer Certificate
  • Security Guard License
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Physically demanding
