As our new Senior Security Engineer (Network Security), you will be responsible for leading security event monitoring, incident management, and response efforts. Your expertise in firewall administration and familiarity with technologies such as Cloudflare and Netskope will be essential in fortifying our organization against cyber threats.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead daily security event monitoring and incident response, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
- Implement Cloud web application firewalls like Azure Front Door and Cloudflare to protect our online presence.
- Manage rules in Netskope Security Service Edge to maintain a secure network environment.
- Drive Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rule management and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) deployment to safeguard sensitive information.
- Guide Infrastructure teams in deploying Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD WAN) solutions to enhance network security and efficiency.
- Manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) & Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) Tools, particularly Splunk Enterprise Security, to streamline security operations.
- Conduct threat management and Vulnerability Management using Tenable to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Independently investigate security incidents and mentor Security Operations Center (SOC) analysts to ensure effective incident response.
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and process adherence to maintain a secure and efficient security operations framework.
- Develop processes to enhance the Security Operations Framework, ensuring it remains aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Integrate standard and non-standard logs in SIEM to provide a comprehensive security monitoring and incident response capability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 suite and Sentinel One/Cylance.
- Working knowledge of network routing and switching.
- Microsoft Azure Certification required.
- Optional certifications in Cisco, Palo Alto, Security+, CISSP.
- Nice-to-have: Experience in a Security Operations Center.
