Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Associate

The Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant will provide support to occupational therapists and physiotherapists in inpatient rehabilitation and complex transitional care units. The successful candidate will assist in progressing patients with acute and complex medical conditions under the supervision of the therapists.
Key Responsibilities- Support occupational therapists and physiotherapists in the delivery of patient care
- Assist in the progression of patients with acute and complex medical conditions
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes
- Provide excellent patient care skills with medical, surgical, neurological, and geriatric caseloads
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and a commitment to teamwork
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate certificate in occupational therapy/physiotherapy assistance from an accredited college, with at least one year of experience in an acute care setting. Excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment are essential.
