Senior Global HR M&A Consultant

Centrica plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Global HR M&A Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the business M&A agenda with the delivery of all end-to-end related activities for the People Workstream in relation to Acquisitions, Integrations, and Divestments across all businesses and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide due diligence assessments for new acquisitions and identify key related risks, proposing risk mitigation solutions or engaging relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Deliver appropriate documentation for acquisitions, including diligence and risk summaries. Support with early integration considerations, including reverse-carve outs or legal and regulatory reasons that must be considered.
  • Support/Own problem solving on all complex project challenges: likely HR TSA constructs, carve outs, agency workers, compliance challenges, etc.
  • Complete/Support with relevant project deal governance activities.
  • Support with go-to-market preparations (e.g., Complete data room population for all new divestments and identify likely challenges/pre-empt future bidder's questions where possible).
  • Support with all aspects of a divestment lifecycle from determining the in-scope population to carve out & Op Model considerations, TSA challenges, and other people-related challenges.
  • Support with relevant project deal governance activities.
  • Support with any new country entry set up activities working with the Business and all other Functions to ensure entity set ups, registrations with relevant authorities, T&Cs offers, agreement templates, and payroll are in place.
  • Identify Risk & Issues (e.g., Corporate Tax implications, Labour law landscape).

As a Senior Global HR M&A Consultant, you will have strong commercial acumen and an eye for tactical considerations. You will be able to work with ambiguity and be agile, astute and creative. You will be part of a team that embraces diversity and actively seeks to attract individuals with unique backgrounds and perspectives.
