Housekeeping Room Attendant

Welcome Inn is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Support Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.

Working Conditions: 40 hours per week, permanent position, English language required.
