Main Avenue Cold Beer & Liquor Store Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance. This is a permanent full-time position working 30-40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained and equipped to perform their tasks.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize returns and exchanges, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business needs.
- Sell merchandise and promote products to customers.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Manage cash and maintain accurate financial records.
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment, often under pressure to meet sales targets and customer demands.
- Attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate inventory management and customer satisfaction.
- Standing for extended periods is required, as well as occasional lifting and bending.
- Client focus: provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Flexibility: adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Organized: maintain accurate records and ensure efficient store operations.
- Reliability: demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
