About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Indian Food Corner Inc. as an Ethnic Food Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and safe, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Restaurant.
