Senior Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cook to join our team at Sichuan Gourmet Discovery Ltd. DBA. Prawn Garden Restaurant. As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Szechuan dishes, with an emphasis on traditional flavors, techniques, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook Szechuan dishes with attention to detail and presentation.
- Plan and design seasonal menus that reflect the rich heritage of Szechuan cuisine.
- Estimate food requirements, manage inventory, and ensure timely ordering of ingredients and supplies.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food prep, quality control, and staff management.
- Develop and implement new recipes, enhancing our offerings while staying true to Szechuan culinary traditions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- High school education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Szechuan cuisine.
- Expertise in preparing key Szechuan dishes and Szechuan stir-fries.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage kitchen staff.
- Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and working within a budget.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high-quality food preparation.
