Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Services Manager to join our team at Dean Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising the administration and evaluation of claims from victims of licensee dishonesty who are seeking financial reimbursement from the Compensation Fund.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the administration and evaluation of claims from victims of licensee dishonesty
  • Work closely with Finance and external actuaries and auditors to adhere to policy standards
  • Oversee the claims process for victims, working closely with the Director of Regulatory Services
  • Manage a multi-million dollar fund, ensuring effective financial reporting and compliance
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • Licensed LLB or CPA designation
  • Minimum of 10 years working within a regulatory body, general practice, or compensation area
  • Experience overseeing grants or scholarships is an asset
  • Experience in financial reporting and managing a multi-million dollar fund
  • Effective communicator with previous management experience
