Our Onboard Software Platform team is responsible for the integration framework, data logging, performance analysis tools, system optimization, and sensor integration.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with a diverse team of Engineers and Research Scientists to implement an AI-driven approach for scalable and safe self-driving solutions.
  2. Engage in strategic planning, system architecture, development, and testing of our software stack designed for autonomous trucks.
  3. Develop and sustain high-level software abstractions that facilitate real-time integration of our autonomy system on vehicles and within our deterministic simulation environment.
  4. Work closely with autonomy software teams to assist in the integration of new functionalities.
  5. Identify and propose new design patterns or framework abstractions to enhance integration processes. Optimize sensor integration and data pre-processing latency.
  6. Create or incorporate tools for performance measurement, data recording, and visualization.
  7. Adhere to industry best practices to ensure the development of safe, reliable, and robust software.
Required Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
  2. A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  3. Proven experience in technical leadership roles.
  4. Strong proficiency in C, C++, or Rust, along with experience in a scripting language.
  5. Experience in systems programming, high-level network programming, and system optimization.
  6. Familiarity with designing various software integration frameworks and communication methods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience in the fields of autonomous driving, automotive technology, or robotics.
  2. Knowledge of low-level Linux and networking concepts.
  3. Experience with sensor integration, including LiDAR, cameras, or radar, and understanding of time synchronization.
  4. A collaborative mindset with a willingness to support team members.
  5. A passion for self-driving technologies and a drive to solve complex challenges.
