About the RoleThe Underground Soft Rock Mining Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of mining crew members to ensure safe, efficient, and quality work is performed. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mining operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of mining crew members to achieve production targets and ensure safe working conditions.
- Develop and implement plans to maximize resource utilization and minimize waste.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a mining or related environment.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Mines and Mining Plants.
- Experience with mining common core and supervisory soft rock common core.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office and good computer skills.

This is a rotating continental schedule with day and night shifts. The position is expected to work underground, and relocation assistance is available for those who qualify.
