As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating bus traffic, ensuring routes are on time, and providing exceptional customer service to our drivers and passengers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage bus routes and schedules to ensure efficient and timely transportation of students.
  • Coordinate with drivers to provide real-time updates and resolve any issues that may arise during routes.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of bus routes, schedules, and driver performance.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our transportation operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; diploma in Transportation Logistics Technology an asset.
  • One year of dispatching experience or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of radio distribution equipment and computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Google Maps software and the ability to navigate complex road networks.
  • Class 1 or Class 2 license required.
  • Valid Canadian work permit mandatory.
  • Spoken and written language: French mandatory.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position with a variable schedule. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and may be required to work overtime as needed.
