Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Quality Control
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Reporting and Communication
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, sales, and customer feedback.
- Communicate effectively with the chef and other team members to ensure seamless food order summaries and tray assembly.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Security and Safety
- Basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Standing for extended periods and walking as required.
- Personal Suitability
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
