Reporting to the Director of Experiential Learning and Career Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of experiential education at Mount Allison. Your expertise and leadership will guide the design, implementation, and evaluation of impactful programs that foster entrepreneurial thinking, competency development, and career readiness.

Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the Internship Program by developing, delivering, and tracking learning initiatives for interns. Cultivate strong relationships with both interns and employers to ensure a successful internship experience.
  • Design and deliver competency-based training programs that equip students with in-demand skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with faculty and external partners to create entrepreneurial thinking and innovation programs that inspire creativity and problem-solving.
  • Manage community service learning projects, fostering a culture of civic engagement and social responsibility.
  • Explore and develop new certificates or courses that integrate experiential education into the curriculum, acting as a liaison between Experiential Learning and academic departments.
  • Stay abreast of current trends in experiential learning by researching innovative approaches and incorporating best practices into Mount Allison's programs.
Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Organizational Psychology, Education) or equivalent experience.
  • Deep understanding of experiential learning principles and best practices.
  • Proven experience working in a university setting.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • A commitment to student success and fostering a positive learning environment.
