We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships, sales and revenue generation, negotiation and contract management, and market expansion. Your contributions will help us empower women, particularly immigrants and BIWoC, to secure employment and advance their careers.

Job Description

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving sales, expanding our market presence, and establishing strong relationships with new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, sales expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills to achieve business goals and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with our long-term goals.
  • Lead efforts to generate new sales leads, actively pursuing and closing business deals that align with company objectives.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, tracking progress towards sales goals and reporting on performance.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform business strategies and identify opportunities for market expansion.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field is typically required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage sales activities, track progress, and analyze data (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify business opportunities, and develop strategies to enter new markets or expand within existing ones.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate business performance and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages can be an advantage, especially for roles involving international business development.
