Position Overview

The Culinary Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of food service operations at Royal Caffe & Espresso Bar. This position involves overseeing staff, maintaining quality standards, and managing food preparation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of food preparation personnel.
  • Training: Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, hygiene practices, and safety protocols.
  • Resource Management: Assess and estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Budgeting: Prepare financial plans and cost estimates for food service operations.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Order Management: Compile food order summaries for the head chef.
  • Tray Assembly Oversight: Supervise and verify the assembly of food trays.
  • Delivery Coordination: Oversee the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience in food service.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
