Key Responsibilities- Adhere to Bombardier's General Work Requirements, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and service aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
- Operate ground support equipment as needed.
- Assist with mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines and support maintenance at off-site locations.
- Avionics/electrical A/C technical school or equivalent education.
- Typically, 0-2 years of avionics work experience or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
- Basic PC skills and effective communication in written and verbal form.
- Basic set of hand tools and ability to demonstrate inventory and control.
- Must obtain Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required.
- Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled workdays and holidays, and work in seasonal and inclement weather.
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (if applicable).
- Certifications as required by customer (Commercial Aircraft).
- Airframe Certification, Powerplant Certification, or Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
- GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate.
- Experience on corporate jet aircraft and commercial aircraft.
