About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at McIntyre Finishing Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Work Environment
  • Work in a fast-paced commercial and residential setting.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure efficient and effective plumbing services.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the plumbing industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
